Pulsevia Docs

INSTALL

HestiaCP

Pulsevia runs well on Hestia (shared jail / user account).

Steps

  1. Create a web domain (or use an existing one). Enable SSL (Let’s Encrypt).
  2. Set Document Root to the application public directory, e.g.
    /home/USER/web/DOMAIN/private/app/public
or deploy so public_html contains index.php + symlinks to build, media, storage.
  3. Select PHP 8.3 (or 8.2+) for the domain.
  4. In PHP settings, enable the required extensions.
  5. Create a MariaDB database + user in Hestia; note host 127.0.0.1, DB name, user, password.
  6. Upload / clone the Pulsevia application under the domain’s private path.
  7. Ensure storage and bootstrap/cache are writable by the domain PHP user.
  8. Open https://DOMAIN/install and finish the wizard.
  9. Add cron (as the system/user cron):
* * * * * cd /home/USER/web/DOMAIN/private/app && /usr/bin/php artisan schedule:run >> /dev/null 2>&1

Use the same PHP binary/version as the site when possible.

Jail tips

  • Prefer TCP 127.0.0.1 for MariaDB if socket paths fail inside the jail
  • If CLI PHP lacks extensions, configure a user PHP ini / wrapper so artisan matches FPM modules
  • Zoneinfo / timezone must be available for scheduler timestamps

After install

Activate license, configure mail, confirm /login works, create a campaign and test /f/{slug}.
